Dear Editor,

I attended one of the city council candidate forums and have been reading a lot of campaign mailers from one of the new faces in that race. Having seen where the current leadership has taken us since becoming our own city, I am more than a little concerned about the direction that these new faces want us to go.

Rancho Cordova Throws a Red, White and Blue Bash July 3-4

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July returns for two days of festival fun, parade, free concerts, carnival rides and fireworks during “Star-Spangled Weekend,” the 26th year for the Sacramento area’s largest free Fourth of July celebration. All events are held in Hagan Park. Admission to the park is free of charge. Parking is $10.
