Free Tax Assistance From FLC Students

Working in collaboration with the Internal Revenue Service, students from Folsom Lake College’s Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) program will offer free income tax preparation assistance to the community. Los Rios Community Colleges Receive $2 Million in Grant Money

The Los Rios Community College District has been awarded a U.S. Department of Labor grant of more than $2 million for job-training programs geared towards careers in energy. The $2,037,399 grant was one of six federal grants designated for community colleges and counties statewide to apply to various job-training programs, including construction, nanotechnology and transportation.
