Two redbud trees were planted on the Rancho Cordova City Hall campus to conclude the City’s Arbor Day celebration on March 11th. Participating in the ceremony were Shawn Colvin (left) from the Sacramento Tree Foundation; Cyrus Abhar, the City’s Public Works Director; Rancho Cordova Vice Mayor Robert McGarvey; and Todd Humphrey, the City’s Facilities Manager. Rancho Cordova is an active partner in the Greenprint initiative which focal point is to double the region’s urban tree canopy by planting 5 million new trees by 2025. Read more –>

Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce Keeps Local Business Strong with Launch of CASH Card Program

Cordova Cash Card - The Rancho Cordova Post

The CASH Card is a convenient, plastic card with scratch off discounts and coupons for use at Rancho Cordova area businesses. Shoppers will present the card at participating area businesses when making a purchase to receive the discount. Non-profit organizations will also be able to use the CASH Card as a fresh and unique fundraiser. Local groups can encourage others to shop locally and save money by selling the CASH Cards. Shoppers may purchase the CASH Card for $29.00 and a portion will go towards local non- profit organizations.
