This week’s pet is Mamas, a smart dog that loves her treats.

Mamas is a 10-month-old, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Mamas is a smart girl who can ‘sit’ on command and has proved to be treat motivated. Pancake Breakfast to Raise Funds for Cordova Community Food Locker

The Lincoln Village Neighborhood Association and Head Start Youth and Family Resource Center are hosting a pancake breakfast to raise money for the Rancho Cordova Food Locker. The 6th annual event to be held on Saturday, March 13th will be at AM Winn elementary school located at 3351 Explorer Drive, Sacramento, CA 95827.

Rancho City Employees Sponsor 2nd Annual Scholarship

The 2nd annual Community Pride scholarship, established and funded by Rancho Cordova City employees, will be awarded next month to a graduating high school senior who lives in Rancho Cordova.
The $500 scholarship was established last year to show City employees’ support of youth and education in the Rancho Cordova community.
