Post image for VSP Names New Chairman of the Board

VSP, an eyecare insurance provider based in Rancho Cordova, announced Monday that Dr. Timothy Jankowski has been selected to serve as Chairman of the Board for a period of two years.

Jankowski has been a practicing optometrist for 30 years and began service on VSP’s Board of Supervisors in 1999. He has been the Vice Chairman on the board since 2008.

Dr. Jim Short, the current Chairman to be replaced by Jankowski, said his replacement will be a great asset to the company.  “As the companies within VSP Global continue to extend services internationally, Tim will help ensure their direction supports and benefits private practice doctors and quality eyecare services,” he said in a statement.
