Garbage Collection Changes Days to Accommodate Holidays

The holiday season brings joy, laughter, family traditions, and greater than average amounts of trash. In order to be prepared for the holiday season’s trash pickup, the City has provided a convenient holiday schedule. If your regularly scheduled pick up day is on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25 or on Friday December 26th, service will be provided one day later instead. Thursday pickups will be on Friday, and Friday pickups will be on Saturday, December 27.



Local Youth Grant Funds for Youth Inspired Projects

The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership (the Partnership), Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and the Cordova Community Collaborative (CCC) are pleased to announce that three Peace Love & Happiness grants have been awarded to youth run, community focused organizations and these grants are now underway to benefit the greater Rancho Cordova area.



Area Youth Attend Nutcracker Ballet

On December 6, 2008, 90 youth and adults from Rancho Cordova and Folsom attended the Nutcracker Ballet performed by the Sacramento Ballet. The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership (the Partnership) planned the event and invited families from the two cities to participate in their youth development programs.
