Groundwater Contamination Still a Concern for Fair Oaks Plume

On the first of this month, Aerojet and Fair Oaks Water District held a community meeting to reveal and discuss plans to drill a well in Fair Oaks for monitoring a plume of contaminated groundwater, and met with staunch opposition from a group of residents who live nearby the proposed site

Neighbors in Anatolia have a burning desire to rid the air of the foul stench of rotten flesh. The smell is the rendering plant on Sunrise blvd. and Kiefer. There has been a recent spike in the frustrations with the awful odor emanating from the plant which burns road kill for Sacramento county and surrounding areas.



Cordova Parks: Community Losing Faith

It appears that there have been some some misguided plans and an inability in many areas to simply involve the community to improve Rancho area parks. It may be time for another change in leadership or a change to the structure of the CRPD. Clearly, the park district is not meeting the needs of Rancho Cordova residents and it’s time for the community to come together to make a change.
