Since 1984, the Sacramento Sheriff’s Toy Project has been helping law enforcement with the problems of overcrowded jails, and those who are in need by allowing inmates with court ordered work release time to build toys made of wood, and to repair donated bicycles, to be distributed to the less fortunate in the community.
