St. Joseph’s Mobile Mammography Unit to Offer Low Cost Mammograms

Women can conveniently receive a mammography screening at the Safeway store at 10635 Folsom Blvd., Rancho Cordova, on Monday, January 31, 2011 from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. Mammograms are provided by St. Joseph’s Medical Center through an innovative program that brings mammography services to women who may not otherwise have access to these resources.

White Rock Park Renovation Update January 2011

The groundbreaking for the White Rock Park renovation project took place on August 20, 2010, and there has been some amazing progress ever since. The Cordova Recreation & Park District expects the park to be complete somewhere in the latter part of the second quarter of 2011 (think May or June).

Mills Park Drive Suspicious Death Now Considered A Homicide

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has now identified the body as 37-year-old Rancho Cordova resident Rajeet Kor Singh. While the coroner has released the victim’s identification, a determination as to the exact cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
