January Dinner Features Singing, Fun, and Laughter

An evening of singing and eating is on the agenda for the Karaoke and Pasta Feed Fundraiser event on Saturday, January 8th from 7 to 10 p.m. in Rancho Cordova’s City Hall at 2729 Prospect Park Drive.

Sponsored by the Rancho Cordova International Association of Administrative Professions (IAAP), the program will feature karaoke singing, raffle drawings, no host beverage bar, penne pasta dinner, and a silent auction dessert course. “We will have lots of Elvis music since it’s on his birthday but we promise that there will be something for everyone else, too,” said Stephanie Nobriga, event chair.

Tickets are $5, “but if you don’t want to sing, tickets are $15,” said Nobriga.  But she quickly added that participants can sing as a group.  There’s no charge for dinner tickets for children under five years.  IAAP is a non-profit professional association.  Rancho Cordova’s chapter meets on the third Thursday of each month and provides an opportunity for networking and sharing best practices. For additional information about the Karaoke and Pasta Feed or about the organization, please contact Nobriga at (916) 851-8769.
