The Mitchell Music Boosters is hosting its first Music-A-Thon on Saturday, November 6. We are hoping to raise money for the music department at Mitchell, for the purchase of music, instruments, instrument repair and to possibly help fund a trip in the Spring.
Students will be securing sponsors for every 15 minutes of music they play/sing during the day. We are also asking businesses to sponsor a piece of music for a $50 donation. The event will be from 9:30-2:45 in the gym at Mitchell Middle School at 2100 Zinfandel Drive in Rancho Cordova.
Fish on! Cordova Recreation and Park District is hosting a free Fishing Frenzy informational clinic on Saturday, November 6th from 9:00am-12:00pm. This event takes place at Hagan Community Park in the rear pond next to the barn. Admission is free for the entire family.
