California Capital Airshow Promises Exhilarating Performances, Interactive Displays

Have you purchased your tickets to the California Capital Airshow yet? The airshow will be held the weekend of September 11th and 12th at Mather Airport and will delight the entire family. Gates will be open from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. on each day of the event featuring entertainment on the ground and in the sky as well as plenty of food and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Parking for the event is $10 and more parking and driving information can be found here. Attendees are encouraged to bike in, if possible.

As the event is outdoors, please remember to wear appropriate clothing, shoes and sunblock. Canopies and umbrellas are not allowed as everyone deserves to see the performances. Also, please leave dogs, weapons and any glass containers at home.

Performers for the 2010 California Capital Airshow include F-22 Raptors, a 40 foot tall mechanical dinosaur called Robosaurs, Smoke N Thunder Jet Car and many more. Also featured will be  government and military displays for the Patriot Day event. Both military and civilian pilots and performers will be taking to the skies to thrill the sea of onlookers below. Previous attendees are often overwhelmed by the sound, speed and brilliance of the performances.

Ticket prices have been decreased this year to $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12  if ordered prior to the show. Kids ages 5 and under are free.  You can also purchase VIP tickets, family packages, and reserved seating in advance.
