Congresswoman Doris Matsui Announces Telephone Town Hall to Take Place on Wednesday Evening
Today, Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-Sacramento) announced she will hold a Telephone Town Hall this Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 6:45pm PST to hear from and talk with her constituents on a wide variety of topics including the Wall Street reform legislation signed into law, an update on the implementation of health insurance reform, efforts to improve the economy and invest in clean energy technology, and other current issues.

“Our country is facing a series of challenges right now stemming from the financial crisis of 2008,” said Congresswoman Matsui. “In Sacramento, these issues have been exacerbated by furloughs, the foreclosure crisis, and the impacts of State and local budget cuts. As we continue to work to get our economy back on track and put Americans back to work, I look forward to hearing from my constituents and answering their questions about my work and the issues before Congress.”
To participate in the Telephone Town Hall, constituents are encouraged to RSVP by calling Rep. Matsui’s Sacramento office at (916) 498-5600. Constituents will be called on the phone number they provide on the night of the event.
