E-Waste Recycling to Help Fund All America City Efforts
If your old computer monitor is taking up valuable garage space or the television that was replaced six months ago is still sitting, unused, in the guest bedroom, it’s time to take action against the clutter. The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce and Cordova Community Council are hosting an e-waste recycling event on Wednesday, July 28.

Not only is e-waste taking up space in your home, it’s also taking up precious space in landfills. According to Greenpeace, e-waste makes up 5% of all waste worldwide. That’s between 20-50 million tons each year that could be recycled.
Feel free to bring any of your e-waste to City Hall, located at 2729 Prospect Park Drive from 10 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. e-waste includes televisions, computers, monitors, cell phones, audio equipment, and printers. If you have more e-waste than you can transport, please call the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce office at (916) 273-5688.
All recycling will be handled by Sims Metal Management, Recycling Division.
