Progressive Shares Art Collection with Friends and Family in Rancho Cordova

On Saturday, July 17th from 2-5 p.m., car insurance group Progressive will host a Friends and Family Event for the Rancho Cordova community. The event takes place at 10929 Disk Drive and highlights a unique part of the Progressive culture – its world-class, contemporary art collection.

The highlight of the occasion is a curated exhibition titled “Making the Right Choice.” The show illustrates Progressive’s commitment to ethical decision-making and celebrates the company’s Core Values. In addition to this main exhibition, visitors can also view newly installed permanent works, including pieces created by artists living and working in Northern California. Progressive employees will serve as docents and be available to answer questions about the distinctive ways art “works” at Progressive.

“Progressive has been a proud member of the Rancho Cordova community since 1965, and we are pleased to open our doors for our neighbors for this unique opportunity,” says Call Center Manager Linda Rodezno.

Progressive’s art collection promotes innovation and change, key components of the Progressive culture. The collection illustrates excellence in artistic achievement and creates a stimulating work environment that encourages open-mindedness. Progressive leverages its art to spark rich dialogue about timely ideas, ultimately inspiring its people to risk, learn, and grow.

“This is an opportunity for the Rancho Cordova community to experience what Progressive employees have enjoyed for over 30 years, art that provokes and fosters passionate discussion,” says Art Education and Communications Manager Kristin Rogers.

The Progressive Art Collection began in 1974 as a works-on-paper collection intended to beautify its Mayfield Village, Ohio headquarters. The collection evolved to include emerging artists working in a variety of media whose creativity and innovation reflect the same qualities as the company’s business vision. Today, the collection includes more than 7,000 pieces displayed in Progressive offices countrywide.
