Rancho Cordova Crime Report: June 8 – June 14
The following crimes were reported in these Rancho Cordova neighborhoods:
North of Highway 50
- 6/8/10: A grand theft was reported at 10299 Folsom Boulevard. The suspect approached the victim at a gas station and asked for a dollar. When the victim opened his wallet to give the suspect a dollar, the suspect grabbed the wallet and ran. The suspect is described as a white male age 18-24, 5-feet-9-inches tall and 200 pounds with blonde hair.
- 6/8/10: Charles Brandon, 19, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft at Zinfandel Drive and Folsom Boulevard. A witness allegedly saw the suspect grab the victim’s wallet from their shopping cart. The witness followed the suspect to an address and officers detained the suspect.
- 6/10/10: A 17-year-old minor was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at Safeway located on Folsom Boulevard. The suspect allegedly selected bottles of alcohol from a display, concealed the bottles in his pockets and shirt and exited the store without attempting to pay for the bottles.
- 6/11/10: Celiflora Orduna, 22, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on the 2000 block of La Loma Drive. The suspect allegedly scratched the victim on the nose.
- 6/13/10: Charles Davis, 34, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine on the 2000 block of Mills Park Drive. The suspect was contacted during a vehicle stop and was allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
South of Highway 50
- No crimes were reported in this area.
Rosemont/ La Riviera
- 6/8/10: A domestic violence incident was reported on the 8900 block of Talisman Drive. The suspect allegedly pushed the victim into a bookshelf.
Gold River/ Coloma Road
- 6/10/10: A burglary was reported on the 2000 block of Benita Drive. The suspect entered a residence through a bathroom window, and when the suspect encountered the victims he fled back through the window and ran away. The suspect is described as a black male age 20-30, 5-feet-7-inches tall and 120 pounds.
- 6/11/10: A kidnapping incident was reported on the 10600 block of Beclan Drive. The suspect allegedly entered the victim’s residence, assaulted an adult victim and then told a minor to get into her car. The suspect then allegedly drove the minor to a residence and the minor was later found okay there. The suspect is described as a white female age 42, 5-feet-7-inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair.

- No crimes were reported in this area.
Anatolia
- No crimes were reported in this area.
Lincoln Village Area
- No crimes were reported in this area.
