Sprint Hiring for 125 Positions at Rancho Cordova Call Center

Sprint will be filling nearly 125 positions at their Rancho Cordova call center, the company announced Wednesday.

Applicants were invited by the company to learn more about the job at a career fair at the call center today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but applications for the positions can also be filled out online. A brief description of the jobs available says that applicants should expect to handle 25 to 30 calls a day and will start at a pay of $13.94 per hour; the call center is open from 4 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. seven days a week.

“We are looking for bright, customer focused, and technically astute people who thrive on change, innovation and technology,” said Dianne Drever, the site lead and general manager for the call center. “We are especially pleased that we’re also able to positively impact the local economy with our hiring initiative.”

Sprint’s Rancho Cordova call center has been in operation for 27 years and was the recipient of the Stevie Award for Best Customer Service Team from the American Business Award. The call center is located at 3068 Kilgore Road; Sprint is directing any questions about the positions to (916) 636-7029.
