New Casino and Restaurant Brings Economic Development and Entertainment to Region
The new Cordova Restaurant Casino will have its grand opening March 12, bringing a new type of gaming establishment to the region.
The restaurant and casino offers an upscale card room to the community in addition to a luxury-lodge dining experience. There have been nearly 150 new employees hired at the Cordova Restaurant Casino, which has helped combat the unemployment epidemic and stimulate the local economy. The location is in the heart of Rancho Cordova’s entertainment and convention district, is adjacent to 2,000 hotel rooms and is the former Bridal Mart building.
“The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to have Cordova Restaurant Casino in our city,” said Jane Daly, CEO of the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce. “In current economic times we are happy to see the new source of revenue, employment and safe entertainment for our region.”
On March 12 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Cordova Restaurant Casino will host a grand opening event at 2801 Prospect Park Drive off Highway 50 at Zinfandel. The event will feature live entertainment from the Dean-O-Holics (a Rat-Pack tribute band), food and $25,000 in cash giveaways. The event is free to the public.
“We designed an experience that delivers superior service and entertainment unlike other gaming options in the region,” said Manuel Moreno, General Manager of Cordova Restaurant Casino. “We offer a welcoming environment that everyone will feel comfortable playing in. We also have the highest limits in the area, even compared to Indian-gaming establishments.”

I’m not an expert on English punctuation or sentence structures, but anyone could see these blaring mistakes.
Other than that, thanks for the article and pic… make me want to go see it for myself. Although it would have been nice to receive this article before the event had already happened.

It is a shame the efforts to shield the support equipment from view doesn’t include the side facing the freeway!
Many more people pass by on the freeway than on the surface street.
