Trash Day Changing for Many Rancho Residents

If you find yourself struggling to remember when trash day is or have woken in a panic to the sound of the garbage truck on the next street over, prepare yourself.  Various neighborhoods in Rancho Cordova will have a new trash pick up day starting on March 15, 2010. The collection day for residential garbage, recycling and green waste will change for approximately 1,700 Rancho Cordova homes.

Not only will the route changes improve the balance of collection routes but will create better coordination between street sweeping and garbage collection.

The households affected by the change have received a hand delivered notice from Allied. If you are unsure of your garbage collection day, please see the map below.
