Radio Show Spotlights Rancho Cordova Happenings

City of Rancho Cordova projects and events are featured the second Monday each month on the Justin Anderson Radio Program on “The Voice” of ACCESS Sacramento. Airing live from 6 to 9 p.m., the program is heard on-line at AccessSacramento.org, click “The Voice”.

On Monday, March 8th at 6 p.m., Rancho Cordova City Council Member Dan Skoglund will talk the upcoming U.S. Census and how it is important that everyone be counted. The Census will help communities like Rancho Cordova receive their share of more than $400 billion in federal funds each year for the next 10 years.

At 8:30 p.m., Micah Runner from the City’s Economic Development Department will be interviewed about the Farmer’s Market that is moving to Rancho Cordova from Citrus Heights. Beginning March 6th, the popular Farmers Market will be located in the Sunrise Light Rail Station parking lot at the corner of Sunrise and Folsom Boulevards.

In addition to being streamed audio on your computer, the radio program is also broadcast live on community television at Comcast’s and Surewest‘s Channel 18 – push the SAP button on your remote or television set.
