Rancho Cordova Crime Report: Feb. 16 – Feb. 23

The following police reports were filed between 02/16/2010 and 02/23/2010:

• 02/16/10: A burglary was reported on Carlos Way. The police report states that unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by removing a window and they took U.S. currency and collectible coins. No one was seen or heard.
• 02/17/09: A 14-year-old teen was arrested on suspicion of vandalism on Sutterwoods Way. According to the police report, the suspect got into a verbal argument with the victim over curfew and allegedly broke the victim’s car window. The suspect was found by deputies a short distance from the scene and the suspect allegedly caused damage to their vehicle.
• 02/18/10: Jose Guerrero, 30, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on Mcbride Court. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim’s hand and hip area, causing a visible bruise to both areas.
• 02/18/10: A 14-year-old teen was arrested on suspicion of battery at 2000 La Loma Drive. The police report states that the victim, an 8-year-old girl, threw water on the suspect and attempted to run away. The suspect allegedly chased the victim and kicked her in the upper back, causing her to hit her face on the corner of a door, the report said. The suspect sustained a laceration that required stitches.
• 02/21/10: A robbery was reported at Del Taco, located at 152 Kiefer Boulevard. The police report states that a suspect entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee and asked how to get into the business safe. The suspect remained in the lobby while the victim went behind a counter. The suspect left the business and did not take any property. The suspect is described as a black male age 24-25, 5-feet-10-inches tall and 180 pounds.
