Fire Breaks Out in Rancho Cordova Apartment Complex

Afire broke out Wednesday morning in a Rancho Cordova apartment complex injuring at least one person. The blaze occured on the  2000 block of West La Loma Drive. The fire is said to have damaged at least three apartments. The fire broke out at just after 7:00 a.m. The cause of the fire appears to be a woman who was smoking a cigarette too close to her oxygen machine. The same woman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
