Rancho Cordova Crime Report: Dec. 22 – Dec. 29
The following police reports were filed between 12/22/2009 and 12/29/2009:
- 12/23/09: A robbery was reported at a liquor store on Lincoln Village Drive. The police report states the victim walked from the business to her car, which was parked in front of the store. A suspect approached the victim, allegedly held a knife to her throat and told the victim to drop her purse or he would slit her throat, the report said. The victim dropped her purse and the suspect, along with another suspect, ran to an unknown location. The first suspect is described as a black male age 19, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 125 pounds with brown eyes; the second suspect is described as a black male of an unknown age, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.
- 12/25/09: A man, 18, is being sought in connection with a battery reported on Heather Glen Lane. The police report states the suspect became upset with his mother and allegedly grabbed her by the throat with both hands, leaving a slightly red bruise on the side of her neck. The suspect fled the scene.
- 12/25/09: Dustin Gordon, 22, was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order, contempt of court and probation violation on the 4000 block of Watt Avenue. According to the police report, the victim was granted a domestic violence restraining order from the suspect. The suspect allegedly contacted the victim several times by telephone, putting the victim in fear for her and her child’s safety, the report said.
