Rancho Cordova Crime Report: Dec. 8 – Dec. 15

The following police reports were filed between 12/08/2009 and 12/15/2009:

• 12/10/09: Dennis Alexander, 23, was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement at Kohl’s on Olson Drive. The police report states the suspect allegedly embezzled money from 11/29/09 to 12/09/09, and the suspect had a no-bail warrant for his arrest.
• 12/10/09: Dwain Steward, 38, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, resisting or obstructing a public officer and parole violation at Norcade Circle and Folsom Boulevard. The car the suspect was driving was allegedly stolen and the suspect allegedly resisted arrest upon contact with officers, the police report said.
• 12/10/09: Jessica Goulardo, 45, was arrested on suspicion of abusing or endangering the health of a child on El Cejo Circle. The police report states the suspect allegedly physically assaulted the victim by pushing him to the ground, then biting the victim. CPS was notified and the suspect allegedly fled in a vehicle. The suspect was stopped by deputies and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• 12/11/09: A man, 49, was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and rape in Southgate, Calif. The police report said the suspect allegedly entered the victim’s house while the victim, his ex-wife, was showering. The suspect allegedly forced the victim to the ground and forced intercourse with her. The suspect allegedly held the victim and their four children for several days, then allegedly forced them to drive with him to Mexico where they would live. Southgate police were called to assist with a welfare check at the destination, and the suspect was taken into custody.
• 12/14/09: A battery was reported at KHS Dismantling and Repair on Sunrise Boulevard. The suspect allegedly struck the victim numerous times in the face with his fist.
