Sacramento SPCA Pet of the Week: Gus the Rat

Gus is a 10-month-old mixed rat. He is brown and black and very handsome indeed.

Rats are very intelligent, playful and social animals. They are food motivated which makes them easy to train, much like dogs. A training session is a great way to help keep your rat challenged, which in turn will keep him happy and healthy.

All adoption fees are being reduced by half and cats age one and older are free during the Home for the Holiday’s Campaign running through the end of December.   Visit 6201 Florin Perkins Road or www.sspca.org.
