Rancho Cordova Man Crushed by Taxi
A Rancho Cordova man was killed Monday afternoon when his minivan fell on top of him. 49-year-old Atlas Shah was working on his van at his home on the 3300 block of Butler Court when it slipped off a jack. Shah drove the taxi for a living.
Authorities originally called the death suspicious, but are now calling it a terrible accident.
Shah leaves behind a wife, three daughters and a son. Friends describe him as a family man who moved to America from Pakistan 30 years ago.

My heart goes out to his family. What a tragedy and how sad for the children and wife left behind.
Ryan, I completely agree. This family is in my prayers.
