Below is a summary of business news from Rancho Cordova between Nov. 15 and Dec. 15:

 

  • Steve’s Pizza will be moving in to the Capital Village Shopping Center is scheduled to open early 2010.
  • Plumbing Unique has moved to a new location at 2690 Sunrise Boulevard, Suite 300.
  • The Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a re-designed website.
  • VSP will be filling 21 positions in Rancho Cordova.
  • GenCorp, the parent company of Aerojet, has announced an offering of  $125 million in bonds.
  • The City of Rancho Cordova is currently soliciting bids for urban infill demolition at the former Stagger Inn site on Folsom Boulevard from Croetto Way to Woodberry Way.
  • Heritage Community Credit Union has relocated to 10339 Folsom Boulevard from their original location in Mather.
  • American River Bankshares, the parent company of American River Bank, announced an offering of $22 million in common stock at a price of $6.25 per share.
  • Areas of the Folsom Boulevard Specific Plan have been re-zoned from a residential focus to a commercial focus so affected property and business owners will fall within allowed uses.
  • City Council has held off on voting for an ordinance that would increase the number of card tables allowed in a casino from 9 to 13 until a date not yet determined. The ordinance was aimed toward accommodating the Cordova Restaurant and Casino that will be located on Prospect Park Drive.
