Radio Show Spotlights Rancho Cordova Happenings

City of Rancho Cordova projects and events are featured the second Monday each month on the Justin Anderson Radio Program on “The Voice” of ACCESS Sacramento. Airing live from 6 to 9 p.m., the program is heard on-line at AccessSacramento.org, click “The Voice”.

On Monday, December 14th at 6 p.m., Rancho Cordova Mayor Dan Skoglund will talk about the Toy Drive that is coordinated by his family and the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership.

Then at 6:30 p.m., Kerry Simpson, Neighborhood Services Manager for the City of Rancho Cordova, will tell how to license pets that you may receive as Christmas gifts.

At 7:15 p.m., Steve Harriman, the City’s Integrated Waste Manager, will tell how to dispose of Christmas trees after the holidays. He’ll also discuss e-waste disposal.

“There is a lot happening in Rancho Cordova,” said Nancy Pearl, the City’s Communications Director. “This program gives us the opportunity to let people know what’s happening here and how activities and services benefit the community.”

In addition to hearing the program in streaming audio over your computer, it is also broadcast live on community television at Comcast’s and Surewest‘s Channel 18 – push the SAP button on your remote or television set.
