The following police reports were filed between 11/17/2009 and 11/24/2009:

 

  • 11/17/09: Kayla Hurst, 18, and Jovon Owens, 21, were arrested on suspicion of buying or receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and burglary. The police report states that on Nov. 11, the suspects allegedly pulled a knife on loss prevention officers at Walmart when confronted. Deputies arrived but could not locate the suspects. The suspects later returned to the store and deputies were then able to detain them. A search allegedly produced video games, a methamphetamine pipe, two pliers and two knives.
  • 11/18/09: Javier Flores, 21, was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, battery, obstructing an officer and probation violation on Routier Road. The police report states the suspect and victim got into a verbal argument, and the suspect allegedly kicked a hole in the wall and ripped a door off its hinges. The suspect also allegedly threw the victim to the ground three different times. The suspect left the scene, then returned, and allegedly broke the front and rear windows to the victim’s vehicle.
  • 11/19/09: Frederick Bjorklund, 54, was arrested on suspicion of grand theft on Mills Tower Drive. The suspect allegedly held stolen items within his apartment that belonged to Carriage House Apartments.
  • 11/21/09: Lori Luing, 41, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment on Ambassador Drive. According to the police report, the suspect’s residence was allegedly kept in a grossly negligent manner, where there were cat feces on the floor, moldy food on the kitchen counters and soiled toilet paper in areas of the bathroom.
  • 11/21/09: A killing occurred on the 2800 block of Zinfandel Drive.
  • 11/22/09: Tri-County Cabinets reported a burglary by unknown suspects. The suspects allegedly removed cabinet making tools from the premises.
