Heritage Credit Union Celebrates Relocation with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Heritage Community Credit Union recently moved to a new location at 10339 Folsom Boulevard, and today the credit union joined forces with the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of their move.

The credit union was formerly located in Mather but moved to a spacious building, complete with a drive-thru teller, at Mills Center. An ATM is still operational at the Mather branch, but the former branch’s doors officially closed Oct. 24.

“This is probably the most thrilling moment I’ve had in my almost six years here at Heritage,” said Judy Flores, CEO of Heritage Community Credit Union. “We are excited and happy that we will be able to serve [the community].”

Mayor Dan Skoglund was in attendance at the ribbon cutting, as were Council Members Linda Budge and David Sander. Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli also made an appearance for the event.

Heritage Community Credit Union first opened its doors in 1953 as Mather Civilian Credit Union and originally served civilian personnel at the Mather Air Force Base. The credit union has also been named Business of the Year by the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce.

  1. It’s great to see businesses growing and expanding in times like these. The new branch will be a great asset for the surrounding community.

  2. I agree, Geoff. I’ve always been incredibly impressed with Hertiage’s commitment to supporting our community, and I’m pleased to hear of this expansion.
