Senator Barbara Boxer’s Federal Grants and Resources Workshop to be Held in Rancho Cordova

Senator Boxer’s Federal Grants and Resources Workshop at Rancho Cordova City Hall will give business, local government and non-profit leaders from Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Placer, Yuba, and Sutter Counties the opportunity to hear presentations regarding grant and loan opportunities – including those related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – from a variety of federal agency representatives. At a time when established services in the community and programs run by local government agencies are being asked to do more with less money, this workshop is designed to inform those in attendance of federal funding opportunities and how they can serve our communities.

In addition to presentations from invited federal agencies, the workshop will also allow audience members the opportunity to meet federal agency representatives and pick up a variety of informational materials.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 18th from 9:30 to 11:00 in the American River Room at Rancho Cordova City Hall (2729 Prospect Park Dr). If you are interested in attending, please RSVP before Tuesday, November 17th by emailing your name, organization, phone number and mailing address to boxergrants@boxer.senate.gov.
