Make Plans Today to Attend “A Taste of December”
The Board of Directors, the planning committee and the Staff of Folsom Cordova Community Partnership cordially invite you to share an experience of a lifetime at our Annual a Taste of December. As you may know this is the fourth year we are hosting A Taste of December.
Last year’s event raised about $20,000 that benefited children and families in need right here in our local community. Despite our accomplishments this past year, many families in our community are still struggling to make ends meet. Right now hard-working families are being forced to choose between paying ever higher heating bills, light, rent, medical care for their children and putting food on the table.
An evening of gourmet delights, A Taste of December will bring together like-minded community members and socially conscious businesses to foster support and to raise money to enhance our existing community programs which include: Roots and Horizons mentoring program (mentoring children of prisoners), CAKe after-school and recreational activities, REACH Youth Development Program, Birth and Beyond Home Visitation Program, Effective Parenting Program, SETA Safety-Net Services program among others.
Join us for a festive and unforgettable evening of fine wine and delectable tastings from the finest local restaurants and wineries. This event has become a holiday tradition for many families in Rancho Cordova and Folsom. The event will also feature music and entertainment, spectacular silent auction items – ranging from art, exotic getaways, unique home décor and more.
