Families with children often look forward to Halloween because of the costumes, the candy, the traditions, and the parties. Families in Rancho Cordova have something special to look forward to this year; Technique Gymnastics and Dance, located at 11345, Folsom Blvd., is hosting a Halloween party and sleepover for children in kindergarten through sixth grade with a “Let’s Get Batty” theme.
The event will begin on Friday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m. The Pumpkin Patch Option, which is geared for younger children or children who don’t want to spend the whole night is available from 7:00 till 11:00 and includes a pizza dinner and prizes, and costs $20 for the first child and $18 for siblings. The Night Owl option is available for older children up to sixth grade who will stay until the morning and costs $30 for the first child and $27 for siblings. Both options will include meals, games like “hoop the pumpkin”, miniature golf, a cake walk, hip hop dance lessons, glow in the dark tag, and a costume contest. There will be supervised free gym time and the children will be encouraged to play in the foam pits, on the in-ground trampoline, and on the balance beam. Those spending the night will also watch the classic children’s movie, “The Ghost and Mr. Chicken“.
Technique Gymnastics and Dance has opened the event to the public this Halloween. All staff are safety and CPR certified to insure a safe and fun Halloween destination. All children must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before the event. The waiver can be found on the Technique Gymnastics and Dance website on the left side of the page or can be picked up the night of the party at the gym. Because this is a popular event, please make reservations by 11:00 a.m. Friday morning.
For more information please call Technique Gymnastics and Dance at 635-7900.
