Rancho Cordova Crime Report: 10/20/09 – 10/27/09
The following police reports were filed between 10/20/2009 and 10/27/2009:
- 10/20/09: A man is being sought in connection with a robbery at Station Donuts, located at 9201 Folsom Boulevard. The police report states the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and ordered her to open the cash register. Upon receiving the money, the suspect left the business and fled the scene on a bicycle ridden by another man. The suspect is described as a black male age 20, 5-feet-10-inches tall and 170 pounds.
- 10/21/09: Raymond Lerma, 18, was arrested on suspicion of altering identifying marks on a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm without a license and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute at Newhall Drive and Tallyho Drive. The police report states that officers responded to a citizen complaint of several males armed with guns. Police detained the suspect upon arrival, and a search of the suspect’s car allegedly revealed a loaded .22 caliber revolver and bags of marijuana.
- 10/22/09: Two suspects are being sought in connection with a robbery on Tuolumne Drive at 9:25 p.m. According to the police report, the suspects allegedly entered the residence, hit the victim with their fists several times and took money from the victim’s pocket. The suspects are both described as black males and 5-feet-8-inches tall.
- 10/24/09: a burglary was reported at Ohana Garden, located at 1931 Zinfandel Drive, on Oct. 22. The police report states that unknown suspects entered the vacant business by smashing the glass in the front door. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the register area. Nothing was taken.
- 10/24/09: A man, 49, was arrested on suspicion of sodomy and sexual penetration by force on Mars Way. According to the police report, the incident occurred on Oct. 10.
- 10/25/09: A man, 28, was arrested on suspicion of battery on Golden Eagle Way. The police report states the suspect allegedly struck the victim, his pregnant girlfriend, with a closed fist, then allegedly shoved her out of bed, causing her to fall approximately three feet.
- 10/26/09: Jacquis White, 20, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at Sonny’s Market, located at 3291 Mather Field Road. The police report states that police responded to a complaint of a man allegedly harassing customers. A record check of the suspect revealed he had already been served a Notice of Trespass, so the suspect was taken into custody.
