Sacramento State Campus Erupts in Violence – One Dead, Suspect Hospitalized

On Wednesday, October 21st a violent altercation leaves one victim dead and the suspect wounded with many questions still to be answered. KCRA 3 was on the scene and had this coverage of the incident.

Initial reports show the the suspect assaulting the victim in the dormitory on the CSUS campus with a bat.

Meanwhile, Sgt. Joe Green said 19-year-old Quran Jones was taken into custody at a hospital. Jones’ condition is unknown. Sacramento State University police confirmed both the victim and attacker were students.
