Cordova High Alumni Kick Off Long Weekend of Events

Thursday night kicked off a long weekend of events for the alumni of Cordova High School. The meet and greet was held at City Hall from 6 to 9 p.m. and was just the beginning of a series of events occurring through Sunday. Friday will see a reception from 5 to 6:30, then all alums are encouraged to attend the Homecoming football game beginning at 7 at Cordova High School located at 2239 Chase Drive. After the game, join other alumni for dinner at Straw Hat Pizza (2929 Mather Field Rd). Dinner is scheduled from 9:30 till midnight.

The real fun begins on Saturday with a dinner dance at St. John Vianney Church (10497 Coloma Rd). Join in on the celebration from 6:30 till 11. There will also be a silent auction on Saturday night and potential guests are asked to buy tickets prior to the dinner. Tickets are $45 per person or $400 for a table of 10. Go to the alumni website to purchase tickets.

Be sure to bring your coolers, picnic baskets and baseball gloves for an alumni picnic on Sunday. All members of the family are invited to attend at picnic from 11 till 3 at Hagan Park (2197 Chase Drive).
