Rancho Cordova Crime Report: 10/13/09 – 10/20/09

The following police reports were filed between 10/13/2009 and 10/20/2009:

 

  • 10/13/09: William Allingham, 21, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on Data Drive. The police report said Child Protective Services was notified due to a 10-month-old being in the residence.
  • 10/14/09: A man is being sought in connection with a robbery at Sunset Cleaners, located at 9215 Folsom Boulevard. The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at the owner and demanded money, then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male age 20 to 25, 6 feet tall and 165 pounds with black hair.
  • 10/14/09: Fermen Navarette, 18, was arrested on suspicion of acting in assumed character. According to the police report, the suspect was detained at Folsom Boulevard and Mills Park Drive, and he allegedly gave police his brother’s name and date of birth. When confronted by police, the suspect then allegedly told the officers his real name.
  • 10/14/09: John Villanueva, 27, was arrested on suspicion of threatening to commit a crime resulting in death or bodily injury and vandalism. According to the police report, the suspect and victim got into an argument on Redburn Lane. The suspect allegedly took a swing at the victim and the victim told the suspect to leave. The suspect allegedly came back to the residence a short while later and started kicking the door, then fled when officers arrived. He then allegedly returned to the residence while officers were looking for him and was arrested.
  • 10/14/09: James Zavala, 36, was arrested on several charges, including vandalism, discharging a firearm at an unoccupied vehicle, discharging a firearm in a manner that could result in injury or death, carrying a concealed firearm without a license and carrying a loaded firearm. The police report states the suspect allegedly drove to his estranged wife’s residence on Virgo Street and confronted his wife. He allegedly became enraged, removed the firearm from his waistband and fired at the victim’s car. The suspect fled but was quickly apprehended by police, the report said.
  • 10/15/09: Marcia Keane, 43, was arrested on suspicion of petty theft with prior theft conviction at Wal-Mart on 10655 Folsom Boulevard. The police report says the suspect allegedly concealed display items and left the premises without paying for the items.
  • 10/15/09: A man is being sought in connection with a robbery at 10535 Folsom Boulevard. The police report says the suspect approached the victim from behind on a bicycle and forcibly removed her purse. The suspect is described as a white male age 28-35, 5-feet-5-inches and 150 pounds with blonde hair.
  • 10/16/09: Joangeline O’Connor, 26, was arrested on suspicion of abusing or endangering the health of a child on Folsom Boulevard. The police report states the suspect’s residence was allegedly “filthy dirty” and the suspect appeared to be hallucinating. The children, ages 1 and 5, were taken into protective custody.
  • 10/18/09: A house on Rockingham Drive was ransacked by unknown suspects, but nothing was taken.
