Sacramento SPCA to Hold Gala Benefitting Shelter Animals Oct. 24

Bell bottoms and tie-dye are welcome at the 23rd Annual Reigning Cats and Dogs Gala, an event hosted by the Sacramento SPCA, on Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center.

This year’s gala will step back to the 1960s, featuring live music from The Indestructibles and select musical numbers from HAiR, presented by Artistic Differences. More than 30 restaurants will be providing food for the event, and just as many wineries and breweries will be in attendance as well.

The gala will also feature several silent auctions; proceeds from the event will benefit animals under the care of the Sacramento SPCA. General admission tickets cost $69 and can be purchased on the shelter’s website, by calling (916) 383-7387 at extension 9102 or by emailing specialevents@sspca.org.
