Car Accident on Folsom Boulevard Injures One
Car Accident
Around 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon there was a car accident on the corner of Routier Road and Folsom Boulevard. There were multiple vehicles involved, however the driver of dark blue four door sedan, pictured here, needed medical attention and was escorted away by an ambulance.
It appears as though the dark blue vehicle was hit from the front as well as from behind. The cause of the accident is under investigation. No other drivers were seriously injured.

I was nearly a victim of the hispanic male, late 40′s, short dark hair, driving[if you want to call it that] an early 2ooo white Explorer as he failed to stop at Bravado & Folsom. I was westbound on Folsom as he sent me into the Oleanders, continued westbound on Folsom about 70 mph, plowed into a van, a sedan[he drove off], & the little blue Toyota you see in the photo there waiting at the light on Folsom at Routier,
lost his right front wheel, and continued all the way down to the library where he finally came to a stop. As I aproached the drivers side of the Explorer, I smelled enough alcohol to choke a horse. and of course, not a scratch on him. The 80 year old female complained of chest pains, shortness of breath, & back & neck pain. PD & Metro Fire were on scene within minutes.
