
The following police reports were filed between 10/06/2009 and 10/13/2009:
- 10/06/09: Patrick Young, 57, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and removing a wireless device to prevent summoning for help on Redburn Lane. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly held a knife to the victim’s throat, causing minor injury, and allegedly took the victim’s cell phone as she was attempting to dial 9-1-1. Deputies arrived and detained the suspect at gunpoint.
- 10/07/09: Beatrice Leon, 28, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on Wildrose Way. According to the police report, the suspect got into an argument with the victim and allegedly struck the back of the victim’s head with a shoe, causing a laceration.
- 10/07/09: A man is being sought in connection with an attempted robbery on the corner of Folsom Boulevard and La Riviera Drive. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim stated he didn’t have any money, and the suspect allegedly tried to pistol whip the victim but missed and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a black male age 18-20, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds.
- 10/08/2009: Gabriel Marks, 36, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance on Mercantile Drive. According to the police report, the suspect was allegedly parked in a car behind a closed business when police contacted him. Police determined that the car had been reported as stolen. The suspect was detained and police allegedly found methamphetamine in the ashtray of the car.
- 10/10/09: A burglary was reported at 3250 Laurelhurst Drive. The police report states that unknown suspects entered a locked building, broke into a candy vending machine and took an unknown amount of money from it. No one was seen or heard.
- 10/10/09: Gerald Cager, 36, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant on Aubergine Way. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim’s arm and threw her to the ground during an argument.
- 10/11/09: Two men are being sought in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon. According to the police report, the suspects knocked on the victim’s door, and when the victim answered, one of the suspects fired a shot at the victim. The victim was grazed on the side of his head and was transported to the hospital. The first suspect is described as a white male age 30-45, 5-feet-6-inches tall and 130 pounds; the second suspect is described the same.
- 10/11/09: A man, 37, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse on Bravo Way. According to the police report, the suspect struck the victim with a toy truck, causing a laceration to the top of the victim’s head.
- 10/11/09: A teenager, 14, was arrested on suspicion of discharging a firearm in a way that could result in injury or death and drawing or exhibiting a weapon in a rude or threatening manner on Woodberry Way. According to the police report, the victim and suspect became involved in a physical confrontation when the suspect allegedly drew a handgun and discharged it once. The suspect then allegedly passed the gun to another suspect who brandished the gun at the victim. The victim fled on foot; police do not yet know if the victim was shot. The second suspect is described as a male Hispanic age 17, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 161 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
