Rancho Cordova Crime Report: 9/8/09 – 9/15/09

The following police reports were filed between 09/08/2009 and 09/15/2009:

09/09/09: Juan Garcia, 18, was arrested on suspicion of giving false identifying information to a police officer. According to the police report, the suspect was contacted by police at Mather Field Road and Rockingham Drive for appearing to be intoxicated, and he allegedly gave police several false names before a passerby correctly identified the suspect.
09/10/09: A man, 41, was arrested on Port Drive on suspicion felony child molestation.
09/12/09: A male teen, 17, and Ricky Hartway, 18, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy at Mojave Drive and Imperial Way. According to the police report, the victim agreed to buy a car from the suspects on Craigslist. When the victim and two others arrived to purchase the car, the suspects allegedly robbed the victims at gunpoint and fled in a car. Police located the suspects and apprehended them, the report said.
09/12/09: Wade Wright, 19, was arrested on suspicion of burglary at 3127 Fite Circle. According to the police report, police responded to a commercial burglary alarm and allegedly witnessed the suspect and a driver leaving the area. The driver pulled over and let the suspect out of the car, the report said, and police contacted the suspect. A laptop was later retrieved that belonged to the business.
09/13/09: A man, 30, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence on the 2400 block Sunrise Boulevard.
09/13/09: Denecia Ferrell, 19, was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at 10655 Folsom Boulevard. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly pulled an item off a shelf, brought it to the return desk and returned the item for money.
09/13/09: David Zuniga, 29, and Danny Kalaveras, 28, were arrested on suspicion of probation violation and public intoxication. According to the police report, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Caprice Drive. A probation search of the suspect’s home allegedly revealed a revolver, and the two suspects were arrested. Police are also searching for a third suspect, described as a male Hispanic age 27, 5-feet-4-inches tall and 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
