Two Arrests Made in Serial Gym Locker Robberies

Keith Lewis, 29, and Nicole Lynn Coleman, 22, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary, reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with a series of gym locker robberies occurring fitness centers in Folsom and Rancho Cordova.

The Rancho Cordova couple were spotted on closed circuit camera breaking in to lockers at the 24 Hour Fitness on Riley Street in Folsom, a press release from Folsom Police Department said. Investigators followed a trail that led to a Rancho Cordova home; When they arrived, Lewis engaged in a brief car chase with police with his two toddlers in the back seat, the release said.

The suspects have been arrested and booked at the Sacramento County main jail. Coleman is facing additional charges of identity theft, possession of stolen property, fraudulent use of access cards and destruction of evidence.
