Rancho Cordova Crime Report: 9/1/09 – 9/8/09

The following police reports were filed between 09/01/2009 and 09/08/2009:

• 09/02/09: A man, 36, was arrested on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under age 14 on Yuma Circle.
• 09/02/09: Two men are being sought in connection with a robbery at Croetto Way and Malaga Way. According to the police report, a man was walking on the street when he was approached by one suspect from the front and one suspect from behind him. The first suspect allegedly held a handgun to the victim’s chest, the report said, while the second suspect removed the victim’s wallet. The first suspect allegedly struck the victim over the head with the handgun and the suspects fled. The first suspect is described as a white male age 21-22, 5-feet-2-inches tall and 140 pounds; the second suspect is described as a black male age 18-19, 5-feet-5-inches tall and 160 pounds.
• 09/03/09: A residence located on Kiefer Boulevard was burglarized and four suspects are being sought. Personal property and antique rifles were taken from the residence. Two of the suspects are described as black males age 15-16, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 160 pounds; a third suspect is described as a black male age 15-16, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 150 pounds; and a fourth suspect is described as a black male age 16-17, 5-feet-7-inches tall and 160 pounds.
• 09/03/09: A residence located on Sunrise Pines Drive was burglarized and no suspects were seen or heard. The residence was unlocked and a suspect allegedly entered the home and removed property.
• 09/03/09: Sonia Reyes, 41, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and possession of a controlled substance on Terra Loma Drive. According to the police report, the suspect called 9-1-1 and told them she was wanted by police and was using drugs. Upon arrival at the suspect’s residence, the report said, police allegedly found a glass smoking device and the suspect allegedly spit out three small bags of rock cocaine in to the deputy’s hand.
• 09/05/09: Marla Johnsen-Valine, 45, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and felony vandalism on Niagara Way. According to the police report, the suspect and victim were friends that became engaged in an argument. Both parties allegedly starting throwing things at each other, the report said, when the victim was allegedly struck in the face and the tip of his nose was lacerated and partially removed. The victim allegedly destroyed some of the suspect’s property and the suspect allegedly smashed several windows of the victim’s car.
• 09/07/09: Charles McNeil, 41, was arrested on suspicion of battery on Sophistry Drive. According to the police report, the suspect allegedly threw a cell phone at his wife and allegedly slapped her in the face.
