Cordova High Lancers to Host Meet and Greet at City Hall on Aug. 22

Woman, Child, Dog Saved by Good Samaritans from House Fire

Aman and two women helped rescue a woman, her baby, and a dog from a house fire in Rosemont, off Southporter Dr. on Tuesday afternoon. The fire started around 2:00 and witnesses say the fire began in the back yard.

RCPD Searching for Missing Elderly Man with Alzheimer’s

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department and the Rancho Cordova Police Department are searching for 77-year-old Marvin Eugene Mottie and are asking the public to help. Sacramento County Sheriff Sgt. Tim Curran said Mottie was last seen on Monday at 12:00 p.m. on the 8900 block of Folsom Boulevard.
