Rancho Cordova Crime Report: 7/28/09 – 8/3/09

The following police reports were filed between 07/28/09 and 08/03/09:

07/28/09: A man entered a back yard on Athens River Court and kicked in the garage door of the residence. He then kicked in a door from the garage in to the residence and stole a purse before fleeing. The man is described as hispanic, around 5-foot-8-inches, 140 pounds, and age 18-20.
07/28/09: A man approached a woman from behind at Routier Road and Lincoln Village Drive. He grabbed her breasts and buttocks and fleed when she started yelling. The woman chased the suspect and saw him get on a bicycle he had stashed. The woman called her boyfriend who attempted to confront the suspect, but the suspect dropped his bicycle and fled on foot. The man is described as white, age 19-20, about 165 pounds with blonde hair.
07/31/09: Ruben Ferrrer, 30, and Colleen Maroney, 30, were arrested on suspicion of: Possession of a forged document with intent to pass it, conspiracy, forgery, burglary, grand theft with possession of four or more access cards belonging to others, unauthorized use of personal identifying information, giving false identifying information to a police officer, parole violation and probation violation. According to the police report, the suspects were arrested after attempting to pass a forged check for $1,000 at America’s Tire Company.
08/01/09: Stavro Kokkos, 26, was arrested on suspicion of evading a police officer. According to the police report, the suspect was on a motorcycle and attempted to outrun police officers. The suspect lost control of his motorcycle and was arrested on Canberra Drive, the report said.
08/01/09: Rodney Vonhagel, 27, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. According to the police report, the suspect attempted to duct tape his former girlfriend’s mouth, then slapped her and let her go.
