Finances Alloted for Improvements to Mather Field Road

Congresswoman Doris Matsui has secured $200,000 allotted for improvements to Mather Field Road in Rancho Cordova. The $200,000 is part of $41 million in funding that will be used to help fund three of Sacramento’s greatest transportation priorities.

Panhandling Ordinance on Horizon at Rancho Cordova City Hall

Panhandling could soon become a thing of the past in Rancho Cordova. The Rancho Cordova City Council considered an ordinance on Monday that would ban panhandling around motor vehicles and transit stops. The ordinance would specifically ban panhandling on median strips, within 200 feet of an intersection, at transit stops and on transit vehicles.
