It’s June and that Means it’s Almost July 4th

The Rancho Cordova Fourth of July returns July 3rd and 4th for a silver anniversary year with free concerts, great food, a carnival, parade and more. Start planning now to invite your family and friends to beautiful Hagan Park for Rancho Cordova’s biggest and most anticipated celebration of the year.
This year’s highlights include a free Pablo Cruise Concert, the Kiwanis Club Parade, Double Funk Crunch Concert, and the spectacular fireworks shows on July 3rd and 4th. There will also be a carnival, pony rides, steam train rides, a petting barn, paddle boats, vendor booths and much more.

Rancho Cordova Fourth of July is powered by great volunteers… like you. Please join the Cordova Community Council at upcoming volunteer meetings to find out what you can do to be part of the team. All meetings will be held at 6 pm Monday’s in June on the 8th, 22nd, and 29th. All meetings will be held in the American River Room in Rancho Cordova City Hall. Refreshments will be served.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas; set-up, parking and traffic control, parade, volunteer care, night patrol, kids zone, water truck drivers, sign posting, food court maintenance and tear down. There is a place for everybody on the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July Volunteer Team.

Join the CCC at their upcoming meetings and find out where you fit in. For more information, visit the official website or contact Shelly Blanchard at shelly@cordovacouncil.org or (916) 273-5704.
