Free E-waste Event to Support Welcome Home Housing

Have you got some old computers, TV’s, monitors, printers, ink jet cartridges or cell phones lying around collecting dust? Environmentally and safely recycle them.

On Saturday June 20th there will be a free E-waste recycle event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit Welcome Home Housing. WHH provides affordable homes for adults with mental illness. They provide an environment that encourages individual development and personal self worth.

Bring your old electronics such as computers, TV’s,monitors, printers, ink jet cartridges and cell phones. No kitchen appliances or batteries.

The free e-waste recycling event will be held at 9350 Kiefer Blvd (between Watt and Bradshaw) from 8 am to 5 pm. Call Lynn Smith at 916-505-5232 or email ls816@wavecable.com for additional information.

    I don’t understand how the service is free, but the event is a fundraiser.
