Dog Resort Boasts More Than Just Boarding

Dog lovers, it’s time to celebrate. A new dog resort has opened in Rancho Cordova and will be celebrating their official grand opening on Saturday, June 6 from 12 pm. to 4 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the celebration and check out the new facilities and resort. Random drawings will be held through out the day, so make sure you’re on hand to win The Local Bark apparel and gift certificates.

The Local Bark boasts a 10,000 square foot outside play area with freshly laid faux-lawn and climate controlled training and boarding rooms. Dogs may “Stay“, “Play“, or “Learn” while at The Local Bark. Boarding is available, though reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. Playtime promotes proper socialization. With 1,500 square feet of indoor space in addition to the the spacious out door play area, and separate areas for each small dogs and less active dogs, dogs are sure to enjoy themselves. The Local Bark also offers many learning opportunities. All ages and stages are considered with classes offered such as Puppy Prep School through Canine Bootcamp.

If you are plannig on bringing your four legged friend to the grand opening, please be aware of The Local Bark health requirements for any dogs staying or playing at their facility, which can be found in their House Rules.

In addition to checking out the new facilities, The Local Bark is offering a free day of playcare for all of their first time guests. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity while your dog makes new friends.
