Pet of the Week

Hello, I’m a mini-Australian shepherd living at the Sacramento County animal shelter. Around here I’m called number 114 and referenced to by my animal ID# A497730. I used to have a name but I’ve been at the shelter for so long I can’t remember it. What I really need is a loving family to come meet me; I’m sure I can persuade you with my good looks and manners. I don’t want to sound egotistical but I am really cute. Everyone that passes my kennel in the shelter says so, but they never seem to adopt me. I’m not sure why; I’m a great dog, I’m playful, and energetic and I even like cats! Maybe it’s because  I’m not that great on a leash, but I’m working on it; maybe if someone adopted me I could take classes or something. Please give a guy a chance; come to the shelter and visit me. You and I might be a perfect match. I’m 2 years old; I have light brown fur and matching light brown eyes and I really need a home. I promise to do my best to be a fantastic part of your family.
